Nails, Nails, Nails...

Okay, so the rounded talons are a craze of yester-year and nobody pines after the claw look anymore.  It's all about squared off nails with a nice bright shade that co-ordinates with the chosen outfit or clashes to create a colour blocking effect.  Alternatively, the french manicure will always be fashionable and is a more subtle way of wearing acrylics or falsies!

-DO colour block
-DO experiment with colours
-DO experiment with new shades

-DON'T wear tacky colours
-DON'T DIY the acrylics if you aren't confident
-DON'T prematurely pull nails off without soaking

Here are my most recent nail experiments...

The pink and lilac mix. Great for girly looks.

The mint green look, very current and popular at the moment.

The lilac look.
The squared off, black and blue sparkle mix. Great for grungey outfits.

And my fav... the purple sparkle nails.

Excuse some fairly poor iPhone photography skills and a weird camera angle, but I have to show you the shoes I instantly fell in love with.  These bad boys are from Urban outfitters and come in both black and red leather.  I originally spotted them when they were price tagged at a fairly extortionate £120 roughly 2 months ago but more recently spotted them on sale for £80!  To my despair the shoes have now sold out.... nonetheless I thought you could all enjoy these beauties too.

I sourced this image from http://hellotitsy.tumblr.com/ during my tumblr exploration and had to reblog it.  His retro quiff and on trend buttoned up shirt give him a very smart, sophisticated appearance and the glasses make him that little more mysterious.  Facial hair is very on trend.  So guys, it's time to hit the barbers shop.  This season suggests that guys should spend time grooming, grooming and....yes, more grooming.  Many females have been asking the question, can a man be too groomed?  If you ask my opinion there is nothing wrong with a well kept man. Beware though girls, do not mistake a groomed and confident guy, with a chauvinistic and arrogant one.

So, Who Am I?

So, here goes nothing.  After years of being a Tumblr lover, I have been converted.  I'm not here to slate Tumblr, as it helped me to discover the competitive world of blogging and the fashion industry.  It was a nudge in the right direction, a beginning.  Many teenagers on the website call themselves bloggers. Well, blogging is much more intense and inspiring than reblogging other peoples artwork and having merely a pictorial blog.

Nonetheless, blogging is what we want it to be.  Whether we love fashion, make-up, photography... whatever, it links us all together.  The blogging world opens our eyes to things we perhaps have not yet discovered and the internet enables us to universally share interests with people millions of miles away from us.

I forgot to mention.  I'm Kim Dibble.  An avid fashion student, aiming high and hoping to get noticed for what has been a dream for so many years.  From childhood to adulthood, the only thing I have surrounded myself with is fashion, art and music.  People were unsure at first, I was mocked for being different, bullied for shying away from the popular girls and standing alone as an individual. But that all made me a stronger person and perhaps opened my eyes to the bitchy world that I was about to enter... but nothing could prepare me for the fashion world.
