How to be, or not to be, the 'Carrie Bradshaw' ideal.

To what extent will we go to, to become the person that everyone believes we should be? Should we as writers all dream to be the Carrie Bradshaw of real life or are we happy in our understated and simple, fairly poor lifestyles.  The key to success, in both career and life, ambition, motivation, money and the inquisition to challenge and break the norm. So, gaining all of the above may be more challenging than first anticipated. I mean, we can't all have the funding and the contacts to become this idealistic individual.

Anyone can grasp the concept of working hard to become the worker, therefore, as unglamorous as it seems you must start from the bottom and build your way up. The hierarchy is apparent but your opinions are not invalid, just slightly shadowed by those who are more knowledgable.

Strive hard, work to the best of your ability and have the confidence to believe that you, yes you the small town girl, can hit the big city and do this. Anything is within your grasp if you want it enough.
