So on Sunday I am off to London on my travels again (how exciting)! I am very lucky as this time around I am staying with the sister of one of my best friends, which saves me on extortionate hotel fees and from being lonely in the night.
Anyway, the main reason I am in London is because I am going to Nuts for a week on work experience. Not naive enough to believe that the role means that I will delve into editorial content, I have my tea bags and cups at the ready (haha). Of course, this is what I want to do. I want to work in the office and write and I will do whatever I must to get to this editorial feature writing role.
Last year I spent a week with FHM, which helped with my confidence, London knowledge and my idea of what the office is like.
So here goes nothing, the small town girl hits London once again. If you live in London and you see a scatty, 5 ft 8, skinny girl wheeling around a suitcase and panicking, it's probably me. But my aim is to be as cool as a cucumber.
Well... I say this now. We shall see.
